A fabulous tungsten ring made from scratch resistant tungsten carbide and inlaid with a black carbon fibre inlay.

Available in UK sizes N to Z+6

The ring has a flat outside profile with slightly chamfered edges and is fitted with a 4mm wide inlay of black carbon fibre to the centre. The ring has a slightly rounded interior for a true comfort fit and is inscribed with the words "Tungsten Carbide"

This tungsten ring is also available in other colours of carbon fibre to the right hand side of the page.

The ring is 8mm in width and is 2.0MM - 2.3mm in depth and has a high polish finish.

Tungsten has the highest melting point of all the elements.It melts at 3,420 degrees centigrade or 6,700 degrees fahrenheit and boils at 5,700 degrees centigrade or 10,300 degrees fahrenheit. What this means in layman terms is that on the surface of the sun, tungsten would become liquid, but if you dropped a piece of tungsten from outer space, it would enter the earth’s atmosphere glowing to red and land on the earth in one solid piece.

Tungsten is a grayish blue colour and is the most scratch resistance of all the metals used in modern day jewellery.
